For those of us who want to learn and practice together how to use the features of Zoom that you might need use if you are hosting a group
We will get together and take turns playing with things like:
* managing breakout rooms
* using the whiteboard function
* giving other participants admin rights/allowing others to share their screen etc
* playing music or a recording for the group
* giving people instructions on how to use the chat function or mute themself or .....
Due to the high level of interest in our first Zoom Playshop I have scheduled another one. The first group had lots of fun playing together, learning and making mistakes in a safe environment with no pressure. We met twice, because one session was not enough for everyone to play fully with everything. We explored sharing sound, sharing our screen, the whiteboard function, the chat function and breakout rooms.
For the second group I will start the meeting as host then reassign another participant to host the meeting before leaving, so that you can all play together. Remember, if there's something you want to learn about and play with it will help to do a bit of research beforehand and come prepared to share what you know with others.
