Our core (negative ) beliefs or our false thoughts underpin our way of being in the world in a huge way. They can be the with us every day and in every interaction. They usually start with "I am......." or "I am not.........." statement and some examples include things such as "I am not good enough", "I am not worthy" or "I will never amount to anything". We are generally not born with them but form them over time due to reactions we experience or things said to us, usually in our early childhood years.
I recently uncovered a core belief that I did not even realise I even carried. I knew of others that I have worked on over the years but this one came as a complete surprise and yet it underlies many of the specific events that I have worked on over the years, including some that continue to come up from time to time. The unearthing of this belief came about in a very simple way and I would like to share it with those of you drawn to this group.
