What I love about EFT? My story, my passion, my vision:
I love the simplicity of EFT, I love how empowering it can be and how creatively it can be used on pretty much any situation to improve our perceptions about the world and our place in it.
I stumbled across Gary Craig's website, emofree.com, in the late 1990's when I was a practising 'alternative' (that was the term then for anything other than pharmaceutical clinical medicine) therapies. I applied the techniques for myself and was amazed at the healing results.
I began to recommend the site to clients and those who were able to get past the 'strangeness' of the process were always delighted with the healing outcomes which, incidentally, were often accomplished far more quickly than was the case with the therapies for which they were visiting me.
Over time I bought and studied all of the DVDs and was subsequently listed as a trainer, but I was often uneasy about the lack of formal accreditation.
I subsequently also stumbled across an organisation providing training in the UK and was delighted to undertake more formal training. I continue to attend training events and sharing of experiences with other like minded people.
I tap for my own needs every day which has helped enormously with a recent health challenge. I am grateful for that health challenge as it brought to my attention unhelplful thoughts and limiting beliefs that had previously been hidden from my conscious mind.
I am delighted at the transition from 'weird and woohoo' to scientifically validated techniques, from 'alternative' to complementary and now to integrative medicine.
My vision is that one day in the not too distant future the concept of energy and energy medicine will be common place.
