About my Practice:
Hello, my name is Elaine Elliott and My Health Matters after experiencing debilitation, recovery, then becoming qualified to help others. Therefore, I have a comprehensive understanding of chronic exhaustive disorders and the impact of stress. My passion is to help others regain and maintain their health whilst having a healthy balanced lifestyle myself.
I provide a holistic approach that looks at the person not the condition and offer a range of individual or combined treatments to address issues depending on the individual's needs. I have many tools and gained valuable experience from working in private practice and public mental health services.
I specialise in chronic exhaustive conditions, symptoms of these conditions have been given various labels; ME, CFS, Post Viral Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Adrenal fatigue or exhaustion, Burnout and now being called SIDS’ Systemic Exertion Intolerance Disease. In some people the effects may be minimal but in others severe, being housebound or bedbound for months or years. With so many symptoms it is challenging for the current medical model to address and understandably has been controversial for many years; diagnosis, what to call it, explanation and treatment.
I support people in recovery and prevention of these complicated conditions by creating individually tailored plans within a holistic, multi-disciplinary, bio-psycho-social model, integrating specialist wellbeing coaching, specific protocols at different stages and EFT which has an important role throughout the physical and emotional recovery.
It's a real honour and privilege to support and empower people to adjust and create sustained health and wellbeing. We work together to achieve their goals, whether it be chronic exhaustive conditions, other common physical and emotional issues, maybe improving performance, or simply a treatment for relaxation.
I work with integrity, compassion, warmth, and intuition, building open, honest, and trusting relationships, giving people hope and inspiration to move forward to a better life that they deserve. I'm so grateful to be doing the work I love and continue to develop myself personally and professionally.
