What I love about EFT? My story, my passion, my vision:
I qualified as an EFT Practitioner in Ilkley with Gwyneth through a recommendation from a true friend/ EFT Practitioner. At that time I felt like I was completely stuck. I was unhappy at work, unhappy with my friendships, you name it I was unhappy.
I took the opportunity to engage in some intensive tapping therapy to help me at that time and I was amazed at the results.
In addition I also practiced EFT on my self to help to clear some of the blockages and I have since gone on to utilise this fabulous therapy to support myself and others in my private clinical practice.
I love EFT because you dont need reams of background information, you dont need to dredge up the past, you just need to get going and TAP. Its such a versatile technique. Over time and with practice I intrinsically know when someone would benefit from Tapping and I get itchy fingers to start.
You dont need equipment just an open mind a willingness to keep going and you soon see the joy from the results.
I tapped with a client about moving house, she felt like she was stuck in her old house which was full of memories from her deceased parents but felt it was too painful to move. Less that six months have gone by and she has sold her house and moved on to a new adventure. Its success stories like this that mean YES. My vision is to make EFT more accessible in mainstream health, to encourage people to be the best of them selves and to re connect to who they really are not who they have become.
I am developing my practice to work with pet owners, and I would love to see EFT supporting society to overcome their over reliance and addiction to pain killers and unecessary commercial drugs and crutches to re connect with themselves and be happier healthier human beings.
With most things we think we have dealt with all their is to deal with. I for one accept now that with life comes challenges, however I now know I have an excellent tool to support me.
I am honest about myself and I am honest when I need support.
I have learnt to embrace that it shows huge strength to ask for support, and im accessing support right now. As a practitioner I am not exempt from challenges Im just in a better space to access support. With this in mind if I can help myself and others to be in a better space to access what life has to offer and cope better with the challenges we face then thats good enough for me. Incorporating EFT in my life to deal with personal traumas anxiety and depression has been a game changer. This last
year dealing with the pandemic and all its challenges and empty nest and caring responsibilities for elder parents and struggling family members has been
not only necessary but vital . My recovery has been proof of the effectiveness of this healing modality.
